Week 10 DraftKings Bargain Plays

Welcome to week 10 my friends as we get you prepared for some great bargain plays this week. Let’s review last week’s bargain plays and see if they were a hit or a miss

Teddy Bridgewater, QB, Denver Broncos ($5,300): 21.86 points

Chase Edmonds, RB, Arizona Cardinals ($5,300): 0.30 points

Boston Scott, RB, Philadelphia Eagles ($5,200): 4 points

Amari Cooper, WR, Dallas Cowboys ($5,700): 5.7 points

Hunter Renfrow, WR, Las Vegas Raiders ($4,800): 17.9 points

Rashod Bateman, WR, Baltimore Ravens ($4,000): 10.2 points

Tyler Conklin, TE, Minnesota Vikings ($3,000): 9.5 points

Darrel Williams, RB, Kansas City Chiefs ($5,700): 10.7 points

Cincinnati Bengals ($2,900): -2 points

Oh yeah! What a shoot out it was for Teddy Bridgewater! The final score is far from the real side of the story as Dallas scored two touchdowns in the last five minutes! Poor Chase Edmonds going down early in the game… all of one carry before being taken out of the game and replaced by James Conner ($5,300) who finished as the RB1 with 40.3 points… oh what could have been Chase Edmonds explosion… oh well. Boston Scott… You got me two weeks ago and I took the bait and of course it’s Jordan Howard… AGAIN! What a shootout it was for the Dallas Cowboys and their nice try at a comeback! Amari Cooper had a solid game…. Wait, no he didnt.. It was CeeDee Lamb….. Nope…. Ahhh I see you Malik Turner and your 20.3 points that helped NO ONE! Welcome Hunter Renfrow to the wide receiver home! I had some of you telling me that it was Bryan Edwards who was going to be the main wideout. This receiving game looks to be Darren Waller, Hunter Renfrow and everyone else. Hello there rookie, Rashod Bateman, with your 5 receptions for 52 yards. I know your day is coming and you will be in a lot of my lineups until that breakout breaks the bank! Well, Tyler Conklin you were able to 3X for us. He tied the team in targets if you want to put him back in lineups.. I would still like a cheap play. Touchdown(s) are in his future… Speaking of the future, how much longer until Clyde Edwards-Helaire comes back? It seems funny but this offense as a whole sucks without him and Darrell Williams is just a plodder who couldn’t even score at the goal line… man… What the hell was I thinking going with the Cincinnati Bengals? Did you know that I originally had the Miami Dolphins and took them out because Tyrod Taylor was starting… What an idiot! My bad on this one as part 2 of the New York Jets game… My bad Y’all!

Overall 3/9 (33%) was a one play improvement over last week, but let’s be honest didn’t last weeks fantasy games just…. Suck? Well, like I’ve said week in and week out, the nice thing about DFS is that we get to brush off the week prior and start off with a clean slate.

So let’s get you some bargains for week 10!

Carson Wentz, QB, Indianapolis Colts ($5,900)

Three weeks in a row Carson Wentz has 3X and his price tag is the same as it was last week which is great to smash on again this week as he gets Jacksonville Jaguars at home. Wentz has had 2+ touchdowns six weeks straight and we should look for that to hit seven consecutive weeks now.

Javonte Williams, RB, Denver Broncos ($5,000)

Every week is a Javonte Williams week, but for some reason the Denver Broncos just won’t give up on Melvin Gordon. That’s probably because Gordon is $9M against the cap and will be gone next year. But we are all seeing Williams is the better back and Denver should give Williams more touches and let Gordon just come in for breathers. This kid is the real deal and I think we will see last week’s performance get repeated this week against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Devin Singletary, RB, Buffalo Bills ($4,700)

This one is all on Zack Moss not playing this week. If his concussion holds him out week 10, Devin Singletary will be a must in all lineups as at least a flex. The New York Jets allow the most points to the running back position. Look what Jonathan Taylor and Nyheim Hines did to them last week on Thursday night. Singletary could be looking at a RB1 day.

Russell Gage, WR, Atlanta Falcons ($5,000)

Of course the week after I put Russell Gage in my bargain plays, he was a…. bargain play. This week DraftKings raised his price all of $100 which is still a bargain play if you ask me. He was close to 3X last week and as we saw what the Denver Broncos did last week to the Dallas Cowboys, why wouldn’t Gage see 8+ targets against the Cowboys? Kyle Pitts ($5,800) will probably have Diggs on him giving Gage the opportunity for another big game.

Tre’Quan Smith, WR, New Orleans Saints ($4,300)

With Michael Thomas done for the year, this team really has no WR1. Or do they? No… they don’t. But I like Tre’Quan Smith this week because he’s just been catching anything thrown his way since coming back from injury. The loss of Jameis Winston stings on this one, but even with Trevor Siemian under center, he still targeted Smith. I predict he see’s more targets as the Saints will be going up against the red-hot Tennessee Titans. Could even go for Deonte Harris ($4,000) for a few hundred dollars cheaper as he’s been the target monster, but I just feel this is Smith’s week.

Pat Freiermuth, TE, Pittsburgh Steelers ($3,900)

The rookie is definitely making a name for himself over the last three games producing 16 catches and 3 touchdowns. The momentum shall continue this week getting the “Hello Kitties” in the Detroit Lions as he’s been seeing 6+ targets over the last three games and Ben Roethlisberger has been having eyes for him, especially in the red zone.

BONUS PLAY OF THE WEEK:

Ty Johnson, RB, New York Jets ($4,500)

Over Ty Johnson’s last four games he has scored over 11 DK points. He’s been getting a handful of carries a game but it’s the receiving game that he excels in. It’s funny too because over the last four weeks, Johnson’s total cost has gone up $300 and has 2.5X+ over that time. This is an easy play as Mike White loves to dump off to his running backs. Even though it’s the Bills, you know the Jets passing game will be active trying to keep up with Josh Allen and company.

DEFENSE I’M PLAYING WITH CONFIDENCE:

Tennessee Titans ($2,600)

What has gotten into the Tennessee Titans lately? Over their last three games they have scored 17,12 and 16 DK points. They look to continue their streak as they have been getting sacks, forced fumbles and a defensive touchdown in three out of their last five games. Nothing better than coming home on a high note. Here’s to that streak continuing.

Best of luck this week to all of you!
