This is my first article of 2021 but it will not be my last. I will admit that I do prefer making video content rather than writing, but I will be writing a weekly gambling article during the season.
If you enjoy gambling content, make sure to check out “Friday Night Lines.” This is my weekly gambling show that I stream live… you guessed it, every Friday Night during the season. On this show, I not only give my top-five NFL bets but also my top-five college football bets.
More than likely you have skipped the intro and went straight to the bets so I won’t waste any more of your time. Let’s fucken gamble.
Chicago Bears to win the NFC North (+300)
When it comes down to it, you are making this bet based on the chance that Aaron Rodgers does not play in 2021. If he does, we all know Green Bay wins the division. Detroit is going to finish in the basement, and if Aaron doesn’t play, the division comes down to the Bears and Vikings.
The reason I lean the Bears is because they don’t have Kirk Cousins at QB and this is still one of the best defenses in football. I am under the belief that Justin Fields is the day-one starter. Between the David Montgomery breakout and the talent that Allen Robinson possesses, I believe that Chicago is, overall, the better football team.
Los Angeles Chargers to win the AFC Championship (+1700)
This is my roulette play. Justin Herbert is in his second year after having an incredible first season. Let’s not forget that there was no training camp and no plans to play Herbert in year one until someone in the Chargers locker room put a hit on Tyrod Taylor (Thyroid for the OG’s).
Now Herbert gets a full training camp, a bolstered offensive line, one of the most underrated wide receiving corps in the league and a very solid defense. I will absolutely risk a little money on the Chargers to come out of the AFC with the talent they possess.
Los Angeles Rams to win the Super Bowl (+1400)
This is by far my favorite future of all the futures in all the future world. The Packers played the Rams back in the playoffs in 2020 and I had zero worries about the Packers losing that game. The reason? Because their QB was Jared Goff.
On the reverse side, I get nervous every single year about playing a bad Lions team. Why? Because Matt Stafford is the quarterback and typically the Packers secondary is sus (that’s what the kids say, right?).
Now the aforementioned quarterbacks have switched teams and Stafford ends up with a team that has an incredible young coach and two defenders who are the best in the league at their position (Aaron Donald being the best defender in the league).
If Sean McVay can get Goff to the Super Bowl, you can only imagine what he’ll do with one of the top-seven QB’s in the league. The Rams are ready to take the league by storm and I personally guarantee that they will be in the NFC Championship game.
