Week 14 is the first week of 95% of leagues beginning to fade away.

From weeks 1-13 we have a great following and I want to personally thank you all for reading my weekly waiver-wire article and having discussions. It’s you that makes this fun for me to do on a weekly basis.

Once again, this week’s waiver wire is based on 60% or less ownership based off of CBS

Adrian Peterson, RB, Detroit Lions (49% owned)

Oh what a season it has been for the Detroit Lions as Adrian Peterson has had 31 carries and four touchdowns over the last two weeks. The streak should continue as long as D’Andre Swift is out as the Lions get a bad rush defense in the Green Bay Packers

Ty Johnson, RB, New York Jets (1% owned)

As long as Frank Gore is out, Ty Johnson could be in the RB2 conversation as he got 22 carries for 104 yards and a touchdown last week against the Raiders. He also caught both his targets for 13 yards. The Jets have gone with a bell-cow approach lately and have been averaging 23.3 touches a game. He’s worth an add.

Tim Patrick, WR, Denver Broncos (54% owned)

Patrick has been sneakily good this year since Courtland Sutton went down with a season-ending injury. He had quite the game Sunday night against the Kansas City Chiefs catching all four of his targets for 44 yards and two touchdowns. Patrick gets Carolina in week 14 and their secondary has been falling apart as of late. Scoop him up for your playoff run if he’s available.

T.Y. Hilton, WR, Indianapolis Colts (49% owned)

It is now two weeks in a row that we have seen “vintage” T.Y. Hilton. After going for 4/81/1 in week 12 against Tennessee he pulled his usual game against the Houston Texans going 8/110/1 on 11 targets. The hot streak could continue as he has Las Vegas week 14 and Houston again before closing out the fantasy championship with a more difficult matchup against Pittsburgh.

Keke Coutee, WR, Houston Texans (39% owned)

Coutee exploded in week 13 with a team-high 9 targets, finishing with 8 catches for 141 yards while filling in well for the now-suspended Will Fuller. For those who are in need of wide receiver help, Coutee is the top priority.

Gabriel Davis, WR, Buffalo Bills (8% owned)

Cole Beasley and Stefan Diggs stole the show Monday night, but Davis was able to grab a touchdown for the second straight week. With the fantasy playoffs now getting started, Davis wouldn’t be a bad handcuff to have in case something is to happen to Diggs or Beasley.

Logan Thomas, TE, WFT (49% owned)

Two weeks in a row now he has caught a touchdown. This last week he caught all 9 of his targets for 98 yards along with a touchdown. WFT is fighting with the New York Giants for a playoff spot….. LOL….. If Antonio Gibson is a no-go or plays in limited fashion, Alex Smith will be passing more and Thomas should benefit.

Dalton Schultz, TE, Dallas Cowboys (42% owned)

He gets a Cincinnati Bengals defense that ranks near the bottom against tight ends… add him if you have the roster space.
