What’s on Tap for the 2019 NFL Season?

The 2019 NFL season is our fourth season as a podcast and our second season producing website content. And when you consider the demands of our wives, kids, and those pesky drinking habits, it’s truly a miracle that we’re here to provide you fantasy football advice and (hopefully) entertainment on nearly a daily basis.

In case you’re checking us out for the first time, we wanted to give you a sneak peek of what you can expect throughout the season; and if you’ve been around for a while, we wanted to give you a preview of the new content we have coming your way.

As our Twitter bio says, if you like sports, beer and an unfiltered time, you’ll fit in well around here. So take a look at what’s on tap for the upcoming NFL & fantasy football season!

Game-by-Game Pick ‘Em & Against the Spread Picks Podcast

The second weekly preview podcast episode features us giving you our winners both straight up and against the spread for each game on the upcoming week’s schedule. Since gambling on football is our yearly addiction, we highlight the games we’re actually betting on and let you know both why we like a side in the game and how confident we are in the pick. We track our yearly record on these picks with our goal being to hit at 60 percent. Just like the first episode we release each week, we answer any listener questions that are sent our way prior to recording.

Fantasy Football Start/Sit

Have fringe guys on your roster that you’re not sure if you should start or sit on a week-to-week basis? This article features those players as DJ Premo gives his thoughts on these “coin flip” decisions based on matchups, recent performance and overall gut feeling via the eye test. If you want any of your players featured, contact DJ so he can make sure your player is included.

DFS Stacks/Bargains/Advice

Everyone loves a good bargain, especially when filling out those FanDuel and/or DraftKings lineups. Ryan Miner will be providing his DFS lineup advice throughout the season to help guide you to victory whether you’re playing head-to-head, 50/50’s or in a tournament. Looking for a QB/WR stack to lead your squad? We’ve got you covered here!

Top-3 NFL Games of the Week

Each week Matt DeFalco will be highlighting his top-three games on the NFL schedule. He’ll let you know why you need to keep an eye on each of the games and what to expect come game day. Have a game you’d like Matt to consider? Go ahead and tweet at him, but just know that he’ll likely be reading your tweet from the club (Matt owns a strip club on South Beach, because like the rest of the Loaded Box Podcast crew, alcohol & girls have climbed to the top of his priority list).

Sunday Sidepiece

Yea, you’ve got your go-to players that you’re using every week, but you know you’re always looking for a little extra on the side. In this article, Ben Morgan focuses on players you should find a way to sneak into your starting lineup in an attempt to score you a little more on NFL Sundays. Much like your lady sidepiece, you’re not always going to need what this player provides, but when you’re desperate, it’ll be there for you!

Be sure to check out the latest episode of the Loaded Box Podcast as the guys discuss targeting/avoiding wide receivers ranked 13-24 this upcoming fantasy season!
